STORY
In 2017, Creative Civilization created the "No Esperes" campaign for the Hispanic Advisory Council of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, to be distributed on National TV networks and through It aired during 2017, 2018, and 2019 on the Azteca America and Comcast networks. The website invites the audience to review the campaign and to request campaign materials to distribute to family, friends, clients, employees and co-workers. The campaignings the message of how early cancer detection can save your life to Hispanics in the U.S.
The materials were created in English and Spanish and include print ads, social media banners, digital display ads and TV commercials which can also be distributed through online video on social media channels.
Rafa Juárez did the creative editing that brings all the elements together to deliver the message through an emotional mix of portraits, music arrangement and graphics. He also designed and developed the first version of NoEsperes.org.
AWARDS
In 2018, the campaign received Gold and Silver awards in the Social Media and Television Categories by The Cancer Awareness Advertising Awards. The CAA Awards is the nation’s most elite competition dedicated solely to the promotion of all cancer related products and/or services.
Also in 2018, the "No Esperes" campaign was nominated to the Imagen Awards by the Imagen Foundation under the category Best On-Air Advertising. The Imagen Foundation is an organization based in Los Angeles, CA, dedicated to encouraging and recognizing the positive portrayals of Latinos in the entertainment industry.
In 2017, Gonzaba Medical Group, the premiere provider of healthcare for seniors in San Antonio, TX, produced its first branding campaign "The Meaning", under their "Como familia - Like Family®" brand tagline.
Creative Civilization created the bilingual campaign and we produced 4 TV commercials, "The Meaning I" and "The Meaning II", in English and Spanish.
We shot on-location footage of real doctors and patients answering the question "What does Como familia mean to you?"
We also shot some doctor-patient interactions, as well as b-roll of the facilities, highlighting the technology and the different services they offer.
The campaign aired locally in San Antonio, TX.
In May 2018, Gonzaba Medical Group, the premiere provider of healthcare for seniors in San Antonio, TX, opened new facilities in the Northwest area. Creative Civilization awarded us the production.
Under Rafa's direction and executive production, we shot on-location footage of real doctors interacting with real patients as well as b-roll footage of the new clinic different areas.
We recorded English and Spanish voice over and edited English and Spanish versions that aired locally in San Antonio, TX.
